This the first vid I have seen on the subject that is actually straight to the point. Each point representing a SET of planes. So many selling kind of irrelevant dribble about "harmonicas", and you name it - and getting lots of "likes", and "thanks", and leaving me none the wiser ! Next thing, how do you have "zones" with such points ?!

Hi, you must amend and review your explanation regarding reciprocal space. From terminology inversing is obvious as you show with software, but why we should you this. Expect this at least be opened in XRD.

So are reciprocal space basis vectors in the same direction as real space basis vector counterparts or are they perpendicular? I know a.a* = 1 so I believe they should be parallel.

cool, maybe one thing left unclear though: At 3:50 you start explaining XRay Diffraction, but then show an image from Electron Diffraction, which of course follows the same reciprocal lattice maths but has different physics underlying it. Maybe you are also talking about the X-rays becoming visible through flourescent electrons on the screen. But yeah, it's unclear.
