Greetings from Bergvliet. Great video! The Isuzu KB double cab is my ultimate favourite out of all the bakkies with the Toyota Hilux as my second favourite. My favourite engines in the KB are the 2.5l and 2.8l diesel engines because of the tractor type sounds they make. The 3.0l turbo diesel is a good engine but I think it makes too much fan noise in my opinion when reving. If I were to get a Hilux I would go for the double cab as well but with the 2.5l d4d engine because the 3.0l d4d has far too much turbo and fan noise and it doesn't have that tractor type of sound compared to the 2.5l which does have that sort of sound but maybe not as distinct as the Isuzu engines.

Thanks for the insights Joshua, I'd go for the 3l Isuzu over all the other offerings. Longevity of the 2.5 Isuzu?

Well,in mostcasesI'veseen the 3.0l turbo diesel in the "go big" shape KB@@Africasidewaysbut as a blind person, obviously I can't drive as I was blind from birth (1994) something definitely makes me gravitate more towards the 2.5l and 2.8l diesel engines. Maybe it's their tractor sound characteristics and no fan noise when reving and accelerating compared to the 2.0l.

Those are great, the 280D was good, and they made it even better with the 3 litre.

Kb250 and kb 280 was pretty common but the 3.0 was rare

Yes, it shares a lot of hardware, basically a pickup version.

No, no, no, The Renault R5 was a front wheel drive car all its life. The racing car was mid engined and THAT was rear wheel drive. You have an R 5 standing there, how can you not see tha engine sit sideways? Dead give away it is front wheel drive. In South Africa they cameout in 1300 L and TL models and later the 1400 TS5 5 speed model. No 1100's came out here
