Random thought. Arrow (and many other babies) will be part of a generation able to look back at their parents before they were born and as babies (at least in a detailed vlog style, not short 30 second videos like in my case). Just wow, that would be so cool, and it's just such a happy thought that she can look back and learn through her mom in a whole new way :)

My daughter naps best in a stroller so I'm usually using that time to take a walk and exercise. Otherwise, I usually have 2 or 3 main tasks that I think really need to be done in that day and aim to do those during nap if we stay inside. But some days, it's just editing or relaxing!

You inspire me to do so many things as a new mommy with my son. I had him at 31 weeks so he was 9 weeks premature and thanks the heavens above he’s doing amazing and out of NICU after a month stay! Honestly mad respect to you for all you get done on your own with Arrow. I'm scared to step into the shower without my husband nearby on baby monitor duty or start bathtime without him, but you're taking a whole bath and giving her one in the middle of the day! These things seemed normal before but after having a 12 month old, you realize just how big of an accomplishment those are on your own.

Pro tip, you can check if the eggs have gone bad by putting them in a full bowl of water. If they sink they’re still good and if they float they’re no good

I remember at one point Arrow woke up around 5-5.30. How did this change? I have this now with my baby and she is still tired, but doesnt want to sleep. Also, does Arrow do 2 naps from 1,5 hour each? I saw the first one was. Its so hard to get a grip of it sometimes 😅 also mine doesnt want to nap the 2nd one this last week… just to fall asleep at 3/4 because she cant take it anymore. I think youre doing such a great job!

My baby dropped to 1 nap at 9 months so your baby may be ready...the biggest mistake I made as a parent is going by averages i found online by sleep trainers. Your baby is an individual and if they refuse a nap or if they aren't sleeping within 10 minutes, they may be tired but are not sleepy enough...good luck mama!

I cannot get my 7 month old to fall asleep on his own. Every nap is a contact nap and so is bedtime. As soon as he hits the crib he wakes up. I can’t endure any sleep training that requires him to “cry it out” I hope to get him adjusted soon because that little bath time moment you shared is everything I want & need 😂
