% has 2 (0) in it, move it over 2 places to the left 30% = 0.30. Mill is 1000 in Spanish or Latin. 1 mill = 1000. 1000 has 3 (0) in it, move it over to the left 3 spaces 27.50 = 0.02750. Hope this helps
