I believe that its D caz, if you see their pricing mode, nothing on instance type or size selection is mentioned. The RDS automatically scales up and its pay as you go model. The more storage + more time you keep the data, the more you pay. If you ask this question to ChatGPT or Bard, it says option D is correct with a good explanation. Today I passed my exam (score TBD) I have to say. I have learned a lot from your 25 videos. The biggest help was the way you QUESTION the question, and that helped immeasurably. I used every one of your videos. But they are NOT enough to pass the test IMHO. I would say less than 5 questions were directly covered in the videos. I used a combination of Your videos, Exam Pro (a great testing engine) The Amazon learning products including their 4 hrs free exam prep course (a waste of time) course. UDEMY practice tests. It was your videos though that gave me the most confidence. If people watch your videos and how you eliminate answers it will really help. I would say ~10 questions I needed to use this technique because I didn't know the answer off the top of my head. I got a few questions on "best practice" or which of the answers best describes the well-architected framework. I think your content is getting out of date for today's tests, but your teaching is spot on. My biggest advice is to use as many resources as you can find. I would estimate 30-40hrs of study.

if you look at RDS documentation, one has to select right instance size and in order to upscale one need to move to higher spec instance. i.e. upscaling is not automated should you need more compute capacity. I thought 'C' is the right answer as having a managed service relieves the customer from OS level patching (and DB patching). If you choose to host your DB (e.g. Oracle, MySQL etc) on your own EC2 instance (e.g. dedicated host), you are responsible for the underlying OS patching but in managed service like RDS, it's AWS which takes care of it. Customer will still have access to OS for as a root user for any OS level scheduled jobs etc. Could someone please correct me if I got this wrong?

Hi! Depends on which GTW is in matter. In this case, API GTW is a tool for help to create and manage APIs. For on-prems you have: Aws VPN: Creates a private network with you own on-prem with the Aws VPC. Aws Direct Connect: Its a service that allows you to have a dedicated connection between on-prem and VPCs Aws Storage Gateway: Its a service that you can use to transfer your on-prem data do S3 buckets or even allow your on-prem to read/wright in the S3 buckets Aws Transit Gateway: This one is a central hub to connect all VPCs with your on-prem I know, too much related infos for same thing :(

For RDS, I guess B is the right answer because its the ONLY one that is correct...A and C is a no because they are managed services, D is rubbish because you can choose the instance type
