Many more people that you're imagining actually love their jobs and are eager to maintain their education and skills in their chosen field and while money is necessary it isn't the be all and end all. “Always better them than me”…this really strikes a chord in me. Is it a universal human emotion or does it label one as a cold blooded killer? What do y’all think?
@PallasAndDove6 ай бұрын
That’s just surviving the streets, not a reflection of human morality.
@kenw22256 ай бұрын
Its universal in life. Unless its mother regarding her babies, almost all life will have that mentality. Its how life got to where it is. Survival and self preservation are necessary for a species to continue living to seed the next generation.

This female detwctive is the most well spoken detectives Ive seen on any of these interrogation videos. And she's as kind and empathetic as she can be under the circumstances.

When you’re this young man every choice you make is life or death! Go to the police, they get you for snitching. You go along, you get life in prison, or possibly go early anyway! For all that judge this kids life what would you do with no family or guidance?

I love how her bullet points on what you can’t do in a self defense shooting are exactly what cops would do and get away with all the time even when there is no threat at all.

70% of prisoners can’t read at a 4th grade level. They can’t get a job, sure, but they can never imagine a life other than what they can experience themselves. They’re trapped in the their own vision of nothingness. They can’t be allowed to hurt other people but it’s a terrible situation all around
