Replying to Who's Side Are You On. I think the writer's point here is that he is not a morning person while his girlfriend is. Also, the girlfriend has a habit of cooking breakfast in the morning. So the request here is to ask her to make a little more for him as well which hopefully does not significantly impact her routine. With that said, if the deal will be that she makes all the breakfast, then he would be making all the dinner (or at least, on the days that his girlfriend makes breakfast, he automatically makes dinner), there would not be a tradeoff on who cooks dinner in this deal. To summarize my above statements, I would be on the writer's side provided that he would agree to cooking dinner and she cooks breakfast.
