I know it won't happen, but just imagine if Perry shows up at Summer Slam and cost Punk to lose (a little cross promotion). I actually don't believe that Punk hates Perry, they had a dust up and that's that, Punk doesn't appreciate TK and the Bucks and how they handle business. Who cares if they have “real heat”? If they do, it’s only improving their feud which is something AEW never understood or took advantage of. Both Punk and McIntyre are pros and they will work together and I believe they’ll get a series of matches together if neither get injured. Punk has been an absolute professional since his WWE return and each day he proves the internet trolls, AEW doubters, and all of his critics wrong. We now see that Tony Khan and members of “The Elite” were the real problem in AEW and they both still are. Honestly, I think dirt sheets and liars like Meltzer have ruined pro wrestling because of fake news and agendas. Some fans only want to know about backstage drama and the focus should always be on the show and matches themselves. I could care less about any of that but the overall McIntyre/Punk feud will be great. It’ll set up everything to come with Seth Rollins vs Punk which is where this will ultimately lead to.
