yesss this storyyy is totally true...i heard this story from my great grand mother ...this happened in her father's house(idk where it was) when she was so young that time ...She told me and all my cousins same story but for a lil change it was not another lady instead she was his wife who died nd taking care of her children..when here husband asked her why she was doing thn she told that she loved her children so much and she can't left them alone..As in our himachal it is a belief that when a mother die nd her children are small there are chances that her soul will came back for children to bring them with her so same happened with the lady...We himachali' people do some rituals like where the mother' deadbody burned people put some keel over the place (we called this process keenla ) by doing this the mother's soul can't came to baby...but atlast this story was real🔥...

Hi, I am from Himachal and heard this story. The place is near Alampur village, in kangra district. But in this story that soldier is married to that saya and he also has 2 children with her. After many years he accidentally found that his wife has kept her leg in chulha and was making chapattis on it. Than after confronting this. She finally left. Moreover she died in an bus accident on the main road of the village.

Actually it's a very common folk Lore in Himachal about a chudel making food while her feet is in fire. That guy must have made a spicy story by relating it to her/his relatives. Other than that it's a gd story to make kids sleep at night. I used to listen it in my house.
