Nene did not have a problem with Kenya initially. Remember that when Nene thought that she was going to be a big star in Hollywood that she was glad to let Kenya be her successor. She was supportive at first. Nene left the show and thought that Kenya was great for the show. The Hollywood thing did not work out for Nene like she would have liked. Kenya's popularity skyrocketed. It did not matter if you loved or hate Kenya, her scenes were rated higher than everyone else. Kenya is a threat to Nene's bag. And Kenya is the only one that Nene appears to be threaten by.

I’ve known many light skin (black, Hispanic and otherwise) women who are the biggesttt colorist towards black/dark skin women, but will give it a pass on the men-like it’s generally acceptable to be dark skin as a man. Having dark skin and being a female is a whole different animal!!!
