Nicki actually watches the show. Seems as though she has been watching the show for a long time. Shew knew the ins and outs and she knew the characters. She asked the questions that we all wanted to know at home. That is what made her a great host. She was the voice of the people that watch and I was here for all of it. Nikki was the Viewers Voice. You could tell she's an actual fan of the show, she knew the nuances of the show and the cast. She did an excellent job. I totally agree that the hosts have to stop being so damn diplomatic. It allows for people to give bs. answers. I don't need my reality tv to be politically correct or diplomatic! But North American TV shows and talk shows are so boring compared to what they used to be. They're too busy trying to be all things to all people so you just get bland talk. If you watch British, Australian, and French shows, you'll see that they still allow fir people to share different opinions and even invite it. Talk shows and panel shows can get very heated with people passionately debating or arguing. It's very interesting. I've been watching in the background old Oprah shows airing on OWN, episodes from the 80s, 90s and it used to be like that, it's easy to see why the Oprah show was a success. It was real people on stage and in the audience expressing real differing opinions and debating organically with no producer influence. I hope we see more fans being hosts. I've always saud Wendy Williams should've been host of Atlanta, Jersey, NYC or Potomac because her commentary on her show was way more interesting.
@Jiorgiapeach3 жыл бұрын
I disagree. She had no idea about the nuances. She said Juan had sexual tension with Robyn? He literally called her gross and unattractive all season and ignored her ass the rest of the time. She shamed Juan for being friends with a guy that thought he was hot and asked Robyn if he has any other gay friends. Wtf? She kept harping on Ashley for causing drama and working after giving birth , blamed her for attacking Wendy but then turned around 5 mins later and said that she was justified in asking Wendy if the cheating rumors motivated her to get her ass done, because anyone should ask that. She literally told Giselle her looks are fading. She didn’t confront candiace about her nasty mouth at all and then gave her the chance to warble out her boring song again. She roasted Mia for no apparent reason beyond her past as a stripper. Nikki was dreadful and offensive and the abysmal ratings attest to that. Ratings dipped as soon as she showed up on the third episode Of the reunion and were lower on the fourth episode.
@Darima23 жыл бұрын
@@Jiorgiapeach I do agree with the 1st part about Juan and Robyn, when she said that I was like huh? They literally give me roommate, brother /sister energy so I don't know where Nikki is seeung any chemistry. However, I like how she was questioning without thinking about it too hard like a real viewer. Even if I don't agree with someone, I appreciate people being honest with their opinions. Also these people choose to be in TV and act a mess so they should absolutely expect the critique and all the opinions, it comes with the territory. The biggest most talented stars in the world get everyone's opinions, why the hell would these talentless reality stars expect any different?? I'm not even a particular fan of Nikki but she definitely made it interesting.

Andy is their boss so I think it’s inevitably more awkward for the cast bc they’re trying to keep their job. They’re trying to “impress” Andy and give good one liners for the edit. Nicki as a woman made the cast lower their guards and feel more comfortable.
@billivee3 жыл бұрын
Also you may take Nicki Minaj berating your marriage , but if she was more employed by the show, in cahoots with production per-se, I imagine a lot of it would need to be edited out. ‘Why did you say that?’ ‘Because we had reshot the scene twice, I was tired and you guys clearly weren’t going to let us leave without some drama’ Once that line is blurred, these ‘participants’ won’t accept being grilled in line with the narrative, these ladies feel set up and put in the ‘villain’ role as is, we saw it on rhoa
@rogers56223 жыл бұрын
Andy not slick . Having Nicki ask those questions as a black woman took the heat off of him 🙄
@billivee3 жыл бұрын
@@rogers5622 it was the perfect balance of the cast not wanting to step on a superstars toes and her only being privy to the final cut (the ladies being forced to react accordingly) Now if Andy asked them about being broke and marrying for money, someone would have rightly cussed him out. @LadyArmand2000_3 жыл бұрын
I get where Candiace is. She feels that "checking" her mother means disrespecting her mother, not understanding that you can respectfully and tactfully put someone in their place without cussing them all the way out. Candiace doesn't need to cuss her mom out in order for them to reach an understanding to where she puts her foot down to let her know that she will no longer stand for her saying whatever she wants about her husband. Also, people keep comparing what Candiace says to her husband vs. what her mother says, not understanding that they're husband and wife. They will fuss, fight, cuss, forgive, make up, and then make love. That doesn't mean her mother gets the same passes that she does.

Robyn doing “all this!” Will forever be funny 😂😂😂 and I agree that Nicki did a good job hosting; even though she had an opinion, she was still fair with how she approached and pressed each person. The only thing that made Nicki look like a hater, was how she was trying to shade Candiace regarding the number of streams and sales of her single and album (and I’m not even a Candiace fan lol); the optics looked like this popular music superstar was putting down and diminishing the efforts of an upcoming artist (like she forget that she was once in that position at the beginning of her record career). The optics to me only looked shady because Candiace was trying to hype up the sales numbers. When nicki was like oh really girl?! Last April I shut it down because my mother violates all kinds of boundaries that she would never tolerate in return. She's of that old school mind that parents, right or wrong, should never go challenged. It's just part of the territory, as far as she's concerned. I acquiesced until I figured out that she is an undiluted narcissist, and it didn't just begin last April. Has she been a real mother? Yes, without a doubt. However, she has monstrous control issues, is textbook passive-aggressive, a Christian of convenience, and is a prototypical manipulator. Bravo People! Bravo People! Bravo People! Get Dineva on the line to help yall out! We need him to either get a few segments in the reunions or have him write the questions that the host asks!
@rohakemmalondon45143 жыл бұрын
Why did I read this in “Q” voice. Yes I think he should host or write the host questions.
@bernicemckenzie73323 жыл бұрын
Andy be asking them “SAFE” questions from viewers. Nicki went straight in to what we wanted to hear and that’s how it should be. Nobody got time for the sugar coating questions; we want to know everything abd she asked question of what the people wanted to know. I enjoyed it and she needs to do it more often!!

One up one down like his ass a Crip from LA. I can’t stand Chris. He got that whole Slim Shady vibe going with the AAVE and the “white chocolate swag” and it’s just giving appropriation. And ion like it.
@tylerr53573 жыл бұрын
I love how she didn't let any of the girls back paddle away from her questions. It was also good to see how nicki made each one of them sit in the hot seat. The ladies don't respect Andy but they definitely respect Nicki and knew better than to try her. They talked all over Andy and never answered his questions. This show needed nicki fr.

20:10 - this whole part about certain parents needing a verbal whoopin.... I am middle aged and trying to get up the courage to do this with my mother....this past summer she and her sister set about humiliating me in public, and I felt like I couldn't say anything. But my younger sister got our mom together and I think I really need to do this next.

A smart chick will ask “Who responsibility is it pay the taxes, homeowners insurance, utilities, and homeowners association fees before you say yes to the mansion. Who paying for the gas, maintenance, repairs, and insurance on that Bentley? I can do all that myself in that apartment and Honda Civic though. It’s better to have your own and don’t depend on a damn soul but you and GOD.
@dougedoug21053 жыл бұрын
It’s implied that if he’s giving it to you, that’s he’ll be paying the taxes. A smart chick will say yes to the mansion, conduct her investigation in the background, and get put on the deed. If the mansion is worth a cool million and the man fall on hard times, then baby let’s downsize and pocket the dam rest to invest with. Never say no to a gift or a blessing
@ericasimms6513 жыл бұрын
@@dougedoug2105 How was that implied? Was it ever said?, no. That’s how women find themselves in situations like Danileigh. Asking to see the deed is something you do before you move in. SMH
@DreaMallory3 жыл бұрын
@@ericasimms651 RIGHT!!! ASK FIRST! INVESTIGATE FIRST. The Danileigh situation though is not one where she didn't have anywhere to go. She just bought Da Baby some expensive car not too long ago. Her home is in the DR and that was the real issue. I just think she wanted to try to make their "family" work and he's a disrespectful jackass. Lawd. Let me not talk about him. He worried my soul how he was popping that gum on live. 😒🤡 An example of something I remember was when Oprah gave all those people cars and they had to pay the taxes. It was a whole problem for some. There was a lot of backlash on her for that.

Reunions did used to be like this. Remember Monique doing the Reunion for Charmed School. And I feel Andy does this concept somewhat when he does his after show and his guests consist of HWs and other stars and they are asked questions about the HWs show. I would love to see Q do a segment of Atlanta. Lol.
@bubba-lix-iousjanae24943 жыл бұрын
Bravo does the format that they because they’re “classy….” And um them white women will weaponize their tears and it’ll be worse than what it is now. And even more unwatchable. They’ll play this shit with black women, not them white broads.
@RP.1233 жыл бұрын
Make no mistake. Nicki was able to get away with alot because she’s a major celeb, they were star struck, and no one wanted to step on her toes. Andy works as moderator because he is “supposed” to be unbiased and he cuts the check. Not everyone can moderate. Can you imagine Andy or any male host asking Giselle about her beauty fading? It would be all kinds of misogyny and ageism outrage. Quiet as its kept. Part 4 wasn’t needed. Nicki was okay but did too much for me.

THANK YOU for talking about the bitter baby mamas!!! A man will eventually say “ F you and the child” you’re keeping him from, will go on with his life, get married and have children and when your child gets older, he’ll tell the child the truth. I have several friends who that happened to and they no longer really have relationships with their mothers because of it.
@brooklynforever19903 жыл бұрын
Nicki did the damn thing! She truly embodied everything the viewers been saying for years. She held each of them accountable! Andy and his biases have lead the reunion astray for years.

Moms, we gotta do better! 💗🤗 Thank you for inserting a nugget of support for Black fathers and their children by calling out the "Bitter-Baby-Mama" Syndrome! As a single mom, it hurts my heart seeing fathers give up on their kids because of the mom- heard them say it too many times, "I just cant deal with her!" While I tell them they're wrong, it's instigated by the initial wrong of the mother they chose.🤷🏽♀️. Thank you, Que.

I had a unfiltered and unabridged conversation with my parents. There was shock and tears and release. It was necessary and healing. Had I not done this I would be a wreck and bitter instead I am successful and happy with a phenomenal relationship with my parents. I honor and respect them and and they see me as a adult.
