I see Bob's Burgers took the Ace Attorney route: the defense not only had the defendant declared not guilty, she also solved the whole mystery and proved the true culprit guilty beyond reasonable doubt. The episode should had been called: *Turnabout Yogurt*

I know that in some jurisdictions the defense may reserve their opening, so wouldn’t this allow Louise to give her opening later in the trial? I have no formal legal education, I just watch a lot of lawyer reactions on YT 😅 Thanks for the video and review, and you should check out the Moon Court episode of The Great North as well ❤️

Yes! In some jurisdictions, Louise could have chosen to give her opening statement after Gene was finished presenting his evidence and before Louise began presenting hers. I don't see it happen often, but there are definitely circumstances where it may be a good strategy 😊 thank you so much for the rec!!
