So glad you shared this video. I feel so many people that play hunting games do not understand that RL hunting is 10x harder than a game. But then it's also 10x more rewarding. I'm 58 and have been hunting since I was 10, that's a long time. To this day I still feel hunting & harvesting an animal is such an adrenaline rush and a blessing. Now the memories made with family and friends, is priceless. It's been warm in this area (Wheeling, WV), but I managed to get it done yesterday. I double lunged a decent 8 point at 26 yards. It was a bit tricky with him coming in from behind. Since getting a little older, I've been using a crossbow, which allowed me to switch over and shoot him left handed. It was a clean pass through and he only went about 80 yards. DD it's a long season and that area your hunting looks like prime location, there is no doubt you will be cutting up backstraps soon. When I hunt if i dont have work later, I sit in the stand sunrise to sundown and I dont leave. I take food and water and sit there lol

That right there is why you use shwacker broad heads, I use the shwackers and I always have a cut in my deer that is 5 inches wide.

Funny stuff. You totally shot short on that buck. The arrow bounced off the ground and punctured his skin. That's why there was no blood on the arrow. The ground was wet and that's why the arrow was wet & clean

great video and sorry that you didn't nail that buck with your bow during the rut i never saw a deer during the pre rut or the actual rut when i was bow hunting with my crossbow and which part of wisconsin were you hunting in western or northen or even southern part of wisconsin but if you are going out hunting with a gun this weekend good luck
