I see that you are using solid wire, I liked to use a stranded wire, I don't recall the name of it though. It came from Premier south of Washington, Iowa. It's amazing stuff, stainless steel if my memory serves me right. I used springs to keep the wire tight. Springs supplied by the wire manufacture. Imported from Europe, Stan Protratzs is his name my spelling is poor. He spent several years in England in the livestock grazing field and now has Premier as a sideline to his grazing and farming operations. Fencing is his game for sure. Online by now probably.

Your Home made spools are a good way to get a finger cut off w/ the culters as the sides , if you slip up handling them . Need to find a chain that is used as the safety chain on implements . Has an end that makes a loop & pull posts . #Bsafe

Have you considered a little bit more shielding for the operator on your wire winder? As a former equipment operator it scares me to think if that got caught and snapped back. Don't want Mrs Sassy Pants to get hurt.

Knowing the handy person you are, you have probably already tried this; try disconnecting and connecting the connectors going to the joysticks and to the interface unit on both ends. There might be some corrosion built up on the connector pins. The other thing is an intermittent wire from chaffing or a mouse, not an easy thing to find. Like my T590 I know mice love to live in skids. I just found your channel through a FTR shout out and have been progressing through your older posts. Really like your channel, keep it up!!!!! Thanks
