In the actual footage, the biker is ejected after the impact (a bit like a newton's swing) so apart from their left leg getting crushed and some trauma from landing, they didn't get as much as if they had actually been dragged by the car. In the simulation, the rider model is attached to the bike, thus not giving the same effect.
