I'm a Filipino. And Whenever I'm alone, I can speak English straight and with like american accent fluently. But whenever there's other people, I always thought I had to speak it with a Filipino accent coz I don't want them to think I'm trying hard to sound/speak with american accent. It's difficult here in Philippines coz everyone around is judgemental and I'm not very proud about it being a Filipino (not every filipino is judgemental tho but mostly) and it makes me laugh every time I realize this thing. Haha

As an ESL students here in America, it’s just so hard to understand everything people are talking about, so this really helps a lot. Thank you so much.
