I regret buying Chetak only because they have stopped app support for the first generation owners. Even though everything else of the scooter is excellent, dropping app support for your early buyers is plain cheating and unacceptable!

@@sameerdeshpande6360 I was one of the first customers of model 2403 right when it was launched. They did not charge me anything for app usage for 1.5 years. But now suddenly the app stopped working and I was told that another Chetak app runs only for model 2413. Its very shameful that a company like Bajaj does not even give an option and abruptly does this to its initial customers.

Honestly speaking, chetak 2403 (specifically) was never meant to be a connected scooter. Bajaj wanted to just add the feature, for more of a brochure addon ,rather than real application of the system.

*One of the most comprehensive & practical review I have ever seen* Hats of to the twins 👍👍👍 Shows how much improvement can be done... Ather is in the business since 10 yrs and Bajaj over a few decades... yet they cannot cover these shortcomings. *Ather is NOT an ECONOMICAL scooter* ... It is good only for the people *who ride over 15,000kms per year.* Below that it is less economical than a petrol scooter. A rich guy can afford Ather... then why will he buy Ather? He will buy Bajaj Pulsar or Enfield he can afford it even if petrol price goes higher. *Ather doesn't make economic sense for riders below 15,000km/yr* *I don't mind if Ather costs 3lakhs but the shit & chindi MANDATORY subscription (service+connectivity) is not needed.* They say it's optional... It's NOT... It's not possible to use the vehicle to its potential... So how come it's optional. If Tata sells you optional service charges you get to drive the vehicle as it is. *With Ather you pay for full option and get half a vehicle unless you take subscription. WHAT UTTER NONSENSE*

I had two things to say one is the helmet full size that is not going to come under seat that i will manage another is the suspension of the scooter because my father has a back problem with activa so how the scooter response on poth holes or bad roads... I am an Ola Electric owner. I had test ridden bikes like Ather, Chetak, Ola, Icube TVS. My personal opinion after riding all of them is to Buy OLA electric. looking at the flaws and benefits of every bike. OLA beats all of them in terms of Range, Space, technology, appearance, and Performance. Ola is highly convenient bike. Dont buy Ather because its subscription plan is total waste. In Ola there's no subscription plan. DOnt buy chetak it is too expensive and underperforms. TVS iCube is the second in line after ola if anybody wishes a bike worth money. GOod Luck to all.

Bajaj should increase the range 150-160km.provide a full size helmet storage. Front suspension should be better.otherwise it is a good vehicle quality wise. And a bit costly to the product they give.

My client purchased a electric scooter worth 30000, where as Bajaj Chetak cost Rs 150000, huge difference. Please make a video showing difference. One main point you mentioned is suspension. Another point I found that, if a low cost electric scooter batteries fully discharge, battery has to be send to company, otherwise, it will not charge.

Kill switch is not a safety hazard. It is for safety. Riding with a kid standing in front of the scooter is safety hazard. You should not ride any scooter with kid standing in front.

Ather needs more high quality parts outside actually and Battery needs to be more bigger for more Range. Headlight is actually weak on Ather i agree but better than our Activa 3G. And belts make a lot of bad noise in Rain.

Kill switch is useful when you have to stop without pulling out stand but not turn off the vehicle as well. Just teach kids about the use of it.

Also as per safety concern kids should not be standing in front it's a 2 seater 2 wheeler not for 3/4 passenger's although in India it's a proper 4 seater or almost 1/4th of a TATA Ace 😅

Sometimes you can get better range while coasting than using regen. It's on your riding behaviour. Ather regen need to be more aggressive but regen using throttle in opposite direction is good idea.

I own an Ather for a year but since then I have never faced any problem with that motor cut off switch and even with the sharp edge near brakes . But I agree with the stand .
