This reminds me of a game my friends and I made up. We called it Get Lost. There were 4-5 of us in a minivan. Everyone but the driver is blindfolded. The driver gets 15 minutes to drive anywhere they want/can. As soon as possible after the 15 minute timer expires, the driver is to park the van. A new driver is elected randomly from the remaining passengers. The old driver is blind-folded and is becomes a passenger for the remainder of the trip. The new driver removes their blindfold and assumes driving responsibilities for the next 15 minutes. Importantly, passengers are NOT to remove their blindfolds until they become driver. Once all participants have taken a turn at the driver role, everyone may remove their blindfolds and the final obstacle is to navigate home. I'll add the rule without the use of smartphones because this game was conceived of before their existence. Enjoy!

Gotta say Tom, I have been watching this channel for about two years now, and it has been my absolute favourite since I first discovered it. Your content is so unique and funny, and you have a great personality and wit that suits it perfectly. But these irl challenges have been such a step up, and it's so great to see a KZbin channel go from a hidden gem to a genuine success. Seeing you stumble around Europe without a dollar or a clue has honestly been inspiring, and makes me want to do some travelling like that of my own. Only thing is I do miss the regular GeoGuessr vids, but definitely worth it if this and the Europe series are what we get instead. Keep up the good work, cheers from down under.

This is brilliant stuff Tom. I learnt something very cool not too long ago: if you have a wristwatch, or you're able to know the time of the day-- just point the hour hand towards the sun, and look at the closest distance to 12. Intersect the two points right down the middle, and it will always point south (if you're in the northern hemisphere) and north (if you're in the southern hemisphere).

@Quintinohthree5 жыл бұрын
@@Rosemaker_ Another, more robust way, but more complicated, is to ask for multiple guesses, some of which should be correct. If you're holding up fingers on just one hand, they should be correct about one every five times, but if they can see what you're holding up they will usually be wrong more often because they consciously avoid the correct answer.
