Ahoj Jen, píšu česky, protože moje angličtina je strašná, italsky bych si po letech nepoužívání neřekl ani o chleba a to samé platí pro ruštinu. Jsem rodilý "Pražák" ale tak nějak jsem na to zapomněl, nevím jestli je to dobou nebo mnou, ale je to ostuda, že musí Američanka připomínat Pražákovi jak je Praha krásná. Někdo chodí s očima zabořenýma do chodníku, jiný kouká do mobilu a nějak zapomínáme zvednout oči k těm krásám které jsou okolo nás. Tvoje videa o Praze jsou naprosto úžasná, některá pobaví jiná poučí a co je nedůležitější (tedy alespoň mne) donutí k zamyšlení, že jsem zapomněl zvednout oči (na svoji obhajobu připomínám, že na některých chodnících to není možné, protože se jinak pěší vzpřímený člověk stane v okamžiku člověkem ležícím - lidově si rozbije hubu 😁) Každý se díváme jinýma očima a tvoje pohledy jsou naprosto úžasné a já ti za tyto pohledy na Prahu a nejen na ni děkuji. Málem bych zapomněl, gratuluji k ambasadorce 🥂 S přáním krásného dne 🙂 Tom ( mimochodem taky Slávista 😁)

Even though it was insane when I moved there 30 years ago, I still get tempted to move back to Prague The visa qualifications keep changing. I used to feel safe enough to take the tram anywhere. I do not advise doing that in Los Angeles or New York City

I've been in the mayor's residence too. But I wasn't asked to come, I was there on a tour when it was opened to the public during Open House Prague. I absolutely recommend everyone to visit when the opportunity comes up again. It's a beautiful place.

So basically, it has been a while I saw something you put out, of course, I got this in my feed and voila, this must be, in my opinion, one of the best videos you made ever. The reason for I'm writing this is simple. You say something about your personal, even at times private, experience of the city, and you put it out as it is, more or less objectively, if you get me. What I'm used to from your videos is the kind of "I'm the American and cherrypick what I like and diss/mock the rest", but in this video, you were simply in the city and let everyone else make their own opinion of what they see. That's different, because usually, in my opinion, you can have a bias and a message that makes it obvious what you value and prefer. The message here was, this is Prague and this is how I and Honza and Toby live in it.

Nice work Jen! And I have one remark - the “Zizkov skyline” is located where old railroad track from the main station to Liben were, it was called “Hrabovská spojka” (and including a bridge over Husitska street) interconnecting those tracks and stations. Is was disused by 12.12.2005 and later replaced by “The new connection” including two new tunnels thru Vitkov hill and a massive bridge to connect these tunnels to the main railroad station. Malá poznámka na doplnění: Tato železniční trať křížila Husitskou přímo nad křižovatkou s Táboritskou, kde stály dvě litinové podpěry ve tvaru podkovy, které velmi znesňadnovaly průjezd touto křižovatkou i když se tudy (pokud se dobře pamatuji) proplétaly tramvajové koleje. Druhá železniční trať tudy vedla o kousek jižněji, její most přes Husitskou stále stojí, je proměněná na cyklostezku a končí až za průchozím tunelem Pod Krejcárkem. Je tu zajímavá procházka - mohu doporučit. Jediná vada na kráse je momentální výluka tramvají Pod Krejcárkem. Kousek se musí autobusem.

Just one minor critic comment. About those "creepy eyes" caused by those light sources. They create a sharp white circle outline in the eyes. I have seen it on other channels as well and I hate it. Even worse are two vertical lines. A soft light would be much better IMHO. Wall reflection is OK, if the wall is white or grey, not adding to much of its own color to the light. When using greenscreen, I recommend adding a slight magenta sides/back light, to suppress the green tint that I often see on the outline of the head, as it is being lit with reflected green light off the green screen. Depends on the size of the screen though. If you use a small one, just for the head, it might be OK. But if full body green screen backgrounds are used, it might be useful. There might be some post processing tools to address this as well. But I digress. Congratulations to becoming an ambassador of Prague! Your love for the city, its history, people, culture, etc. as well as your work on this channel is being noticed and acknowledged.

Docela se těším na recenzi z návštěvy nějakého hradu nebo zámku - oblíbený cíl jarních i podzimních výletů. Je z čeho vybírat: - opravdu staré (Bezděz, Přimda - moc toho nezbylo) - romantické (Trosky, Kokořín, Velhartice) - zachovalé (Kost, Loket, Zvíkov) - reprezentativní (Rabí, Frýdlant, Pernštejn) - turistické (Křivoklát, Karlštejn, Bouzov) - skromné (Střekov, Frýdštejn, Krakovec) ... a spousta dalších (Čechy byly ve středověku bohaté), hradů a zámků je tu opravdu hodně 😲

1. Some times I have put some criticism in my comments, sometimes I have said that your videos are good, and sometimes they are Great 👍 well, this time it is most certainly the case! 2. Can you PLEASE recommend some restaurants? Because I have been around orloy and it is not exactly worth the price. also I have been at “Dancing house” and simply - No way! It’s level of cooking can be expected at local pivnica , but not at their prices (some people said it’s gone downhill since they changed owner. ) so far I have gotten quite good food in Osika and in Švejk. But it would be nice to try something else. 3. Reasons for foreigners to come to Prague : A) Great Škoda baldancing competition ! b) Zahradnícky ples. Gardeners ball. Awesome place with huge amount of foreigners. And THAT one is most certainly worth every penny. And compared to Wiena ball? VERY cheap. And compared to Riga ball much more beautiful because of all flowers. And much nicer crowed than St Petersburg and better music than Berlin. OK, Copenhagen is still the best, but I think in some way Prague ball it’s right up there with Wiena in it’s own way. Ps. You being so fit and sporty I was almost surprised I didn’t see you n Honda dancing there

Jestliže je otázka schválili by pražáci naši prahu tak ono jo i ne 1) sám teďka bydlím na vinohradech zastávku nahoru na floře, ale vyrůstal jsem na jižním městě jak jsi říkala že moc lidí nebydlí v centru to je pravda, ale vinohrady jsou centrum nebo alespoň širší centrum hodně prahy je na hajích dejvicích atd kde vlastně žádná krása prahy není jen paneláky 2) na tom zápase jsem byl taky jen na severní tribuně 3) můj point je nebo návrh udělat video z krajů prahy tam kde končí metro aby bylo vidět že bohužel není celý město zas tak krásný 4) jinak super videa i já se od tebe občas něco přiučím Jak říkají za louží keep the good work up 😊
