Hii! Im a certified occupational therapist who works very closely with speech pathologists and ive learned when prompting him to say words, you can say the sounds of the first letter so for banana say “BUH BUH” so you’re getting him to learn how to say sounds as well as knowing what he wants! This will also help with him getting more stimulation and movement while increasing strength to his lips/jaw. Talking can be a lot of work and pretty exhausting when you’re not used to doing it. You’re doing a great job mama 💗 just know being a mom isn’t easy and you guys are doing a great job raising the sweetest, smartest little boy!

Because of all the pollen here in NC, you are getting a stuffy nose. The stuffy nose makes you sleep with your mouth open which makes your throat and lips dry. I use nasal saline spray before bed. It does not 100 percent prevent it but it certainly helps.

I love your farmers market hauls! The meals you and Carlos make always looks so good. You and Missy are so different when it comes to food, just from watching her vlogs for a while she seems to be somewhat of a picky eater. We absolutely love the infant optics digital video monitor DXR-8 Pro. It's also really nice because you can add another camera and be able to see both cameras on one screen. It does not use wifi either.

Cassie my son didn’t talk until almost 4 we took him in to get his hearing checked. Found out he had so much fluid behind his ear drums that for him it was like he was at the bottom of a pool and we were standing out of the pool talking to him. So maybe start with checking his ears 🤷🏼‍♀️ also no he didn’t have a ton of ear infections either

We use a Motorola from target. It does have an "antenna" though we've never had a connection issue. Husband has even made it so the light function doesn't light the room and it still going strong. Had it almost a year now

We use a doorbell camera on my grandson, he knows that when he wakes up, he can push the button on the doorbell to let us know he's awake. It helps him to be independent and he loves it!

Cassie I don’t know if you know this but if you roll your lemon this works with limes to if you roll your lemon on a flat surface it helps extract the juice. Can you get more juice out of your citrus

Always say the word the proper way and let him hear that repeatedly. He may say it a different way that may be easier, but over time he will adjust the pronunciation of the word.

Your lips being chapped could be because your not getting enough fluids like more water but also could be from licking your lips to much. One other thing is weather
