What it hurts is that Higuain was a really decent player before Ronaldo and Benzema joined to the team, what affected him was that he wanted to be the main scorer and forget about assisting his teammates, he was also a lethal scorer but only against minor teams, in Champions was always disappointing. Such a shame that Xabi Alonso couldn´t play the second game, with him and Guti playing instead of Granero I think Madrid could have created a lot more ocassions.
