That was vintage Real Madrid at the pinaccle of their success in 1960.Not only they won the European Cup for the fifth time and the World Club Cup title the first time that same year they also beat archrivals Barcelona thrice in 1960.Twice in the semifinals of the 1960 European Cup by 3-1 margins at Nou Camp and then at Barnabeau and 3-2 in the league.
