They were playing without 3 players and still had more players in their roster than Partizan. Real have 3-4 top class players for every position while Partizan have a roster of 7 euroleague class players with addition of 2-3 talents like Madar or Smajlagić. That's like playing against 2 teams. Last night they had too many personal fouls in the beginning of the second half and that's why they couldn't play much aggressive defence and when you play too softly against experienced players like Real's this is what you get. The series should have ended 3-0 if there wasn't a brawl in the second game.

You don't have to be a basketball expert to admit that Partizan at the time was playing the absolutely best basket in Europe. Say and believe whatever you want but these series were won by Sergio Llull and his ignition of that famous game 2 brawl. We all know, based on the godlike performance of Punter the series would end 3-0 easily. Llull made them lose Punter for the Belgrade games and basically messed them up mentally for the rest of the series.

Magnifico resumen , lamentable el de DAZN que ya no tiene disponible el partido en diferido y teniendo los derechos, sólo un mísero resumen de 2 min. Por otra parte, los vídeos parecen un concurso de triples; no se discute que fue un gran espectáculo por emociones, peo yo ya no sigo baloncesto actualmente porque como se observa un 70% de las canastas son triples, cuya efectividad empieza a ser alarmante, y eso que ya no es a 6'25 m.. Yo por edad, vengo de un baloncesto donde no existía esa fatídica línea que acabó con la media distancia (para mí la más bonita). En la NBA se instauró en 1979 y en más de un partido ¡no había ni un solo tiro! También cada vez menos lucha en el poste bajo. El juego es cada vez menos combinativo, más monótono. Los tiros de tres ya empiezan a superar a los de dos en tiros de campo. Fíjense que no pasan más de dos posesiones sin un triple... ¡y con hasta 4 jugadores fuera de su linea! alternando alguna entrada a canasta. Es solo una humilde opinión sin deseo de generar polémica.

I think we need Obradović analysis of what is wrong here... But as he pointed out shortly in a interview to press... Some taller guys made fauls too quickly... Or that some didn't put as much effort as they should have... That seems to be usual problem within basketball teams... Some just wither don't have the tenacity or how do i say, i guess willpower in those critical moments... Punther seems like he will be very much remembered with his playstyle for an example, not because of his three points but because at the end of the match when everything seemed critical, he didn't hesitate... This is just my opinion, and im in no way a coach or know about it...

As I said before, Obradovich got the best possible performance from this team. Madan isn't good enough, Samilagic isn't very consistent and Lessort can't really defend the big center players. Leday is technically mediocre but plays pretty smart. Can't expect more from him. Nunnally is also very inconsistent and probably wants to leave Belgrade. Trifunovic is bad, Andusic can't play Euroleague and Exum is "only" good but not a player who can really turn a game around, 20 points is a great achievement for him. So only Punter is a top player. That's why it's great that Partizan reached the quarter-finals of the Euroleague. With two very good players (a good point- or shooting guard and a solid center) the final would be conceivable. And yet Partizan would have deserved the "Final Four". If Llull hadn't intentionally caused this brawl, Partizan would have gone further now. I am convinced of that.

Madridjani namazani sa sto lakova, nasi su jos zeleni u kasnim fazama EL. Sad je bitno da se ne rasformira okosnica tima. Ja bi licno volio Grka da prodaju, mada je dobar u odbrani, ali ima godina a ima i cijenu sada. Nanelija, i mozda Ledeja ako posalju dalje necemo mnogo pasti. Am not a Real fan at all. Nevertheless, I hate the Obradovic sneaky and hard played (with no whistled foul) defense. Lessort always fouls on offence when screening his playmaker, grabbing the opponent and am furious the refs have not called one foul in this series! Not to mention the fouls commited when someone entered the paint!

Ok now I will say more than two words. I didn't like that violence but both teams contributed. There were sanctions. Then there was very high level basketball for both teams. Other spanish fans (haters) wanted something bad to happen to Madrid in Belgrade, but the serbian fans taught a lesson. Congratulations to Partizan because it is a great team with a great coach (We madridistas love Zeljko). I only have good words for our rival and I feel proud of our team. Nothing else.
