I usually don't hate pokemon, but Eiscue is the second one I have ever actually truly disliked (the first was Vanilluxe, who I am cool with now). The penguin's design is bad. The gimmick is good, perfectly square head is bad weird, the too small real head is bad weird, and the body is just a normal penguin body. Redesigns that people have made are so much better.

The ice cube penguin is one of the few species that really broke the immersion for me. There are pokemon that are even more inorganic and manmade that did not shatter my suspension of belief (kinkklank, klefki, honeedge) but this one really rubbed me the wrong way. To have a perfectly cubed piece of ice just seems too weird for me
