Just thought I would point out a little fact for future reference. Fleas live in Old furniture. We had a void property to repair where two lads sat on an old sofa. They had to get taken to change clothes, in the back of a van. The whole house had to be fumigated. The two were literally covered in welts from the bugs. I've also developed breathing issues from doing work on old musty, damp and dust covered properties. Stay safe guys love the posts. There is a video doing the rounds of a Scottish property. Looks newly decorated, clean and had been lived in. The family packed up and moved quickly. Two woman go in and banging can be heard before they run out. Not a chance I'd be doing what you two do 😁

Hi lads, great video. I'm a bit of a military history nerd, I used to collect military stuff when I was a kid and have always been interested in this kind of thing. The medal bands on the uniform are definately ww2. They are the defence medal and the 1939-45 star medal bands. The insignia I can see on the uniform and cap (had to replay and pause then google to check) are for the welsh guards. The boots you found are riding boots - I would associate this with an officer ( thought they might be ww1 at first, but due to other evidence perhaps ww2) . Almost certainly an officer's boots, . I would say that the previous owner was a ww2 officer. The medals don't necessarily mean that he served abroad. I would guess that he was stationed in the UK , otherwise there would be other medals. There may be more of a story to tell, but I hope this is of interest. Keep going with the videos, they're great. Sorry for the incoherent tangent, I've had a few to drink and my eyesight is shit so I have to squint to read this tiny text.

Two things: the old clock you heard, that was working, needs to be wound every 12 or so hours in order to work. Also, the military boots you saw with the forms inside, the man who owned them, was in a photo you saw later that evening.

The military gentleman whos boots and uniform show here would appear to be a rank of Captain if on his uniform or Army photo he has 3 stars or shoulder pips . He is a Guardsman officer of the Welsh Guards. Cap badge on his officers cap & brass jacket buttons are so (leeks). The boots (brogues) with leather spats were 'de rigeur' for Guards staff officers. He must have cut the rug :) The 2 medal ribbons (on his jacket) are the Defence Medal (issued to s/men of WWII) & the 1939-45 Star (180 days operational service between these dates). Why he does not have the War Medal 1939-1945 ribbon too is a mystery. Usually do. Might have been a WWII late entry?!? These things need saving for the family along with the photos for sure x

I know I sound like a broken record, but I just think it’s crazy..To me it makes me feel like after life, to others we really are forgotten more than we realize. There is an air of melancholy filling that house. I too feel a bit pensive & sad. Your laughter has probably been the only laughter filling that home for many moons. If she said hello cheerfully that's good. Perhaps you brought her cheer. Joe, I'm glad you heard her & the baby crying. You feel as though you're being watched? The bell? Is it haunted? I recently heard of a theory where a spirit mum & baby can be in the same home in our realm but separated in theirs. She can spend eternity looking to be joined with her child. This theory involved a medium to help cross them over to find each other at the light. I don't know about all that but I definitely believe in infinite multiverses with possibly infinite dimensions, at least until proven otherwise. So the mum & child make some sense to me.

Hi Chaps, still catching up on your back catalogue. Another enjoyable video. Just a point of interest, while watching your video, I had my own ghost hunting equipment switched on. These were being activated by your questions. So my rampod, ghost tube and EMF detector appeared to be responding to the questions you were asking in your video. The timing seem to be extraordinary and more than just coincidence. I have now paused your video to write this message and none of my devices are reacting anymore. This isn’t the first time it’s happened although it is the first time I’ve had all devices in the room at the same time. It’s not unreasonable to think that the ghosts in my house maybe believe that you’re asking them questions. We should bear in mind, that’s not all ghosts are up with technology and may therefore be confused by it. I wonder if others have experienced the same thing?

When Joe was pointing his camera at some photos and said that the people in them may have lived in the house, he focused on one last, really old photo of a man and in it it looks like he might be wearing the tall, military style boots they found sitting on the table. Someone should be contacted in order to salvage all of the historical artifacts and antiques in that house before they're stolen or destroyed. It's so sad to see peoples entire lives just left to rot. Where I live, in Canada, people spend most of their lives working to pay off their mortgages, so houses are passed down and inherited after the owners die. How do so many properties in the UK end up abandoned and not inherited or reclaimed by the city? If I didn't pay my property taxes for a year, my house would be repossessed by the bank and sold off at auction!! I'm just so curious about how this happens?? Fascinating location and investigation guys!!!

So I came back to watch some of the older videos & you 2 have really grown as investigators. Amazing house. You're right about the uniforms - they need to be preserved. I looked up the buttons and they look to have been from the Welsh Guards. The hat at 9:10 is from WWI and so are the boots. They belonged to an officer. The same with the uniform jacket at 12:20. Thought you might want to know.

I do find you very funny you make me smile from the intros lol you can tell you are good friends and the the ghost hunting is brilliant I will be tuned in every episode. Did you take or tell someone about all the stuff shame if it was left could be important history with those documents and stuff.

Joe needs to clean his kitchen 🤭! Those boots are very cool! And wow that old uniform is an incredible find! That writing was deep 😂. This house was very beautiful once. Now its really creepy and seems to be haunted by at least one female ghost. She really seemed to like Joe. Then the radio playing! Great explore and investigation.
