Do you have borage seeds,they attract bee's like crazy and marigold helps a lot to get rid of bad insects near your plants. All of the best

we have wild borage but this time of year the land that’s not watered is barren , maybe we need to plant some with the crops very good idea , thank you 🇵🇹🐝

Our bees were taken by Asian hornets :/ 😢it got to the point the bees just stopped coming out of the hive.

When it gets above the mid 30s bees stop working and spend all their time trying to forage water and keep the hive cool.

Can you explain why you were tilling bone dry soil? Watching the clouds of soil leaving is worrying. We were always taught only to work ground which was supple..not wet obviously,but watered the night before to stop it taking off like a desert.

Only turned the soil we were planting on. Only went over it 3xs. Then Abe put drip line down with plastic wrap to prevent evaporation . With the water feed on over night the ground is good for planting. Had few hundred to plant in polytunnel . Water is valuable here so we must not waste it. But you right. But we had little choice

It looks a hard life?. Have you thought about returning to just renovating and selling to make a living, or Abe working fulltime as a builder, and you buying a shop or cafe?.

originally we was going to do buying and selling renovations we had completed..shops and cafes here don’t make enough …we wanted the farm to pay our lifestyle but it’s not working out like that 🤔 so we have to come up with a solution….have a great weekend thanks for the comment 🇵🇹🌻🐝

we can’t financially we are just surviving ourselves, in the uk you can get benefits here you have to support yourselves, if our circumstances change I will be in touch, thank you I hope you find good employment 🚜🐝
