Tiran Porter is the funky ass bass player- check him out on Takin It to the Streets! Skunk Baxter on lead guitar ( formerly of Steely Dan) and Patrick Simmons on rhythm guitar with long hair ( one of the group founders who I went to high school with!).

Hi Jynx glad your liking The Doobies and to hear more range from Michael McDonald Taking to the Streets and Minute by Minute are great songs..he is still preforming at 73yrs old with the Doobie Brothers as we speak which is their 50th Anniversary tour and they sound great!!! He also has some solo work which did as well...one song he did was a duet with Patty La Bell...look it up it's amazing...❤

That is the great Micheal MacDonald. A couple of songs by the Doobies you might want to check out, Takin it to the Streets, and Minute by Minute. This is one of those major talented bands along with The Eagles and LED Zeppelin
