Our grandparents narrated this story that during those days Kukis killed many of their fellow mates and their near and dear ones but fortunately many of them were saved and they prepared again to defend their ancestral land and villages of Ukhrul and could defend from Kukis. Not only this place,but also Khangkhui cave (approx 15 km)near Ukhrul hq was also there in Kuki-Naga war many buffaloes/cattle were hidden in the cave by our grandparents and those cattle were not noticed by the Kukis
