Great information buddy I appreciate it. In all my years of trapping I have only had one trap stolen.

I had a cop steal 2 foxes from me. He got kicked off the farm, no more deer hunting there for him anymore after he had a 2nd incident there shortly after. I did not get my foxes back, he tossed 1 somewhere and I never found out anything about the 2nd one. I still wonder if the 2nd one was an albino or something else odd. As to getting out of the truck armed, my commie state has a hunting reg that clashes with the carry reg, and the lisc to carry is a bunch of BS anyway, can barely carry anywhere. I can only carry loaded while trapping and on foot. Can't be loaded in the truck even on private property. But we do have buttloads of red foxes and can still use footholds...

That's a rough situation man. Doesn't help when your state doesn't allow you to carry unless walking the trapline. Do the best you can and be safe out there
