Thank you for this!! I am 36 years young & I remember having teachers like you!! You are NEEDED!! You are a GEM!!! This was also a reminder to me, at my big age, to stay quiet when hearing things I don't like, no matter who is saying them!! We don't always have to reply!! I work on that daily!! May God continue to keep & prosper you!!

You are the teacher that changed my life! You remind me so much of her. She was my 5th grade teacher and she spoke and cared about every student just like you. She spoke life into us and inspired us to become even better. Before her I just was pass without even fully applying myself and she changed that because she cared. Today you spoke life back into me just now and made me realize why I fight so hard for the next generation and that the words I passed down comes with wisdom and is still being passed down. I pray that every student that was blessed to cross your path truly take to heart your words, are and will be successful in life. ❤❤❤❤

I often wish that I had a teacher who took an interest in me. The potential was there but I didn’t take it seriously. I’m retired now and had a good career. Certainly wish that I was in your English class, Mrs. James! We need more teachers like you! 🥰

You remind me so much of my first grade teacher, Mrs. Adams. She was an absolute gem, too, because she loved us and she showed it, just as you are showing your students. She would even pray out loud over us, encouraging us, and she would get emotional to tears, too. You are filling them up with the encouragement and the wisdom that they need for life. There is nothing that will set up children for success more than the absolute truth! Students, if you are fortunate enough to be a student under this teacher's tutelage or a teacher like her, just understand that all teachers are not so giving, that you are blessed to have such an opportunity! Take full advantage of it, and you will never be sorry for learning all that you can, and you will have the memories of a wonderful teacher that can be inspiring to you for the rest of your life! This is pure gold!

So true!! I'm so grateful that the people I've come into contact with in my younger years help me to understand the importance of treating people with kindness and to not burn bridges. Life will only get harder the older you get so it's important to have a good support system as well as being a part of their support system because it takes a village. Thanks so much for sharing and educating the Youth.

Bravo!!! Well done!!! Encore!!! This was spoken like a true champion!!!! This speech needs to be patented and memorialized in bronze, on a plaque!!! This contains highly disciplined, military grade wisdom, gumption and integrity!!!! This hard hitting, cutting edge, inspiring testimony, should be delivered to every sports team in the locker rooms before the game by the coaches, and to every soldier during boot camp, by the Drill Sergeants. This should go down in history as an impeccable presentation, with the same magnitude as the speech from the 1970 movie Patton.

Unfortunately, you don't get reimbursed, or a tax rightoff, for the money you spend out of pocket for materials etc. in-order to assist your students, including the shitty ones! Please, forrgive my harsh language; but one cannot deny my pointedness, or accuracy.
@mattt60172 ай бұрын
It wont let me indent my starting paragraph; which frankly, disterbs me. Quite, aggravating, one cannot exercise proper grammar, due to the limitations of a digital, telegraghical application.

@@iamthatenglishteacher That's the problem. Every year I am asked to vote for tax increases or bonds for education. And yet teachers such as yourself, are still hemorrhaging money from out-of-pocket expenses for basic school supplies. Absolutely, despicable!
