Real Talk with Anele Season 3 Episode 46 - Zoleka Mandela & Thierry Bashela

Breast Cancer is the most common of the Cancers affecting South African women. It is the most prevalent Cancer among white and Asian South Africans and the second most prevalent with black and coloured women. Early detection of breast cancer is touted as the biggest factor contributing to the difference between life and death: 90% of women diagnosed in the early stages go on to live for many years. Zoleka Mandela is prominent South African woman who has battled Cancer twice, and will join us to share her journey. Zoleka Mandela - Zoleka is the granddaughter of the late Nelson Mandela as well as a writer and activist. She has previously written about her battles with addiction, the death of her two children as well as her breast cancer battle, which she has beaten twice. Through the Zoleka Mandela Foundation she’s been feeding cancer patients attending chemotherapy at the Charlotte Maxeke Hospital, and often speaks out against reckless and drunk driving. Zoleka will be joined by her husband Thierry Bashala.

Child molestation by family members is not addressed in black families This is at the root of all the pain kids as well as adults suffer from. not surprised at all "when hope whispers" still make sales to this day, it's a very nice book, iv'e red it when i was 21, very. inspiring, breath taking and creative as well, most part of creativeness i like about it is how she could refer to her exes, "libra" "capricon" you name it. iv'e had crying moments while reading it, laughing moments and everything in between. How i was inspired by the book i remember the following year i entered the PnP fun work for breast cancer awareness for the first time, and been taking part in it ever since then.
