Please cover the glare fog glow node, i think it is still broken in this version when you try to render

I don't cover it in this tutorial - I don't realy like using it much. I find i get a much better result with fog and bloom in eevee. I get that it's helpful for cycles though. I'll take a closer look at it.

I was trying it out and the only problem I found was that the size of the glares isn't consistent between the viewport composite and the render. Would be useful to get an "is viewport" node, like in geometry nodes or have it actually be the same on both

for some reason im only getting the effect and not the rest of my scene when doing this...Im using the glare effect for example and can only see the diffraction stars and not the actual object in my entire scene that they are supposed to be glaring off of.?

We have distortion in the camera, u have to set it to panoramic. Doesn't work with Eevee though.

this is why all the movies look wrong these days. Filmed with a 16:9 lens and squished to fit 4:3 film.. Then its expanded back out for editing and the alphas, DOF, motion blur, etc, just look fake.
