Thank you for your question! In this specific video, the Xsens motion capture system is used in combination with the Siemens Process Simulate software. Within this software, it is possible to perform various ergonomic assessments like RULA, NIOSH, OWAS, etc. However, there are also other programs and tools to perform similar ergonomic risk assessments. The information from these risk assessments can be used to optimize the work environment and analyze work postures to improve the situation of the participant, with the goal of decreasing the risk of work-related injuries and/or increasing productivity. The best feature of the Xsens system is that it is magnetic immune allowing it to measure in any work environment. The system has been validated against optical systems in the use for many purposes. @@jeanpignet5266 Hello Jean, We are using the MVN Analyze to stream segment position and orientation in quaternion into Siemens Process Simulate. So the streamed position is in the coordinate system of MVN.
