Enjoyed the video! I caught up on my common placing while I listened 😊 Also, fun fact, in Japan, we call "Washi tapes", masking tape (マスキングテープ) or "masute (マステ)" for short. The OG washi tape company, Kamoi Kakoushi, came up with the mt brand in 2008, the mt standing for masking tape. Apparently, a group of female visitors suggested creating decorative masking tapes when they were visiting the company factory. The rest is history! Not exactly sure why the name "washi tape" is used so much in other countries, but I presume it's to do with... sounding fancy and nice? Lol
