It is just much hard to define when doing options. If you define your underlying stock, option price move fast and not in the same way.

Yes, that is a major challenge with options and a big reason why I have moved away from them personally. If trading options keeping the expiration dates you trade consistent on the same stocks will help in a big way. From there you can have a pretty good idea of what % drawdown you will get with a specific move in the underlying stock and work from there

May I ask the following question: Why is it said that 90% of traders lose money? If that is true, in what way are you different? I'd appreciate a straight answer. I've had answers like "because people aren't disciplined and don't master their emotions", which might be true, but not sufficient to explain it.

I am not a professional trader but started recently as a side hustle. You are talking the truth, but if it were not interesting to me, I wouldn’t do it. I hate boring jobs. I love the excitement even though I don’t act like that guy, but it hurts losing, and I get elevated mood when I gain. I don’t do it the whole day which is unfortunate because I lose multiple opportunities that I realize later when I get back to it, and sometimes lose because of it. I believe you, it probably becomes more flat emotionally when you know what you’re doing and you do it for long.
