I know someone who had an antiques yard and they were on Salvage Hunters. He said Drew is a much nicer person than he sometimes comes over on the TV.

i used to always watch SH, but like a lot of shows, they eventually wane when you see basically the same thing time after time so got bored with it, as did my missus, and we haven't bothered watching for a few years now

Sorry for them, but relationships change. It’s hard to work together and also be married. Business disagreements tend to run over into the marriage and Vice versa. Anyway, I really enjoyed their show!

Been married for 41yrs. We ran a Business together for 22yrs. People who didn't really know us would ask "How do you stand working together AND living together?" It was simple: we each had our own roles and a common goal. We had a young toddler who we shared all parental responsibilities for. My husband did loads of the stuff Mum's traditionally did bs k in the day: school run, food shop, cooking, a (little) bit of housework. We didn't have a Business raking in the £££. But we had fantastic employees who, like us, all mucked in. We never wanted to expand, never wanted to chase the big bucks, and there probably lies why we were able to work together: we knew our limitations. We had/have a great marriage, we're total realists and hard grafters. Oh, and out of Business hours, we loved a good night out with mates, never took ourselves too seriously.....and both swore like troopers = our pressure release!😂

@@robertsmelt6638 I don't know, do you? In the videos there are a lot of dealers that are glad to see him (or those are the pretending hypocrites than as you said nobody likes him?!). I am in the antique book business since 1990 (and did some antique dealing as well). I see nothing strange in his dealings with sellers. Perhaps he's not a nice guy, perhaps other dealers are not nice as well?! You do not necessarily need to like somebody to do business with him. But I am certainly not naive (I wouldn't have lasted very long in the trade...). Are you an antique dealer yourself or a 9 to 5er?!

I don't really watch Television, but have when I've been at mum's... I don't know why, but DP really grated on me. Money, money, money is all he cares about.. He's got such a dry sense of humour. Something about him, I could read. Always right! I feel he's very controlling, and used John like some skivvy.. Kind of being to buy the tea's, but take it out of your wages..

Sorry, an antiques expert? She hasn't a clue, Unless you call looking stuff up on the computer being an expert. She was good at admin and restored nothing. Drew dipped his wick and that's the reason it ended, end of. The new teeth and hat were a clue. I love the show but Drew rips people off. He buys a lot of crap which sells because of his association with it and the art he buys is dreadful.

I notice, since Drew Pritchard split with his wife Rebecca, Drew has taken to wearing a set of Jürgen Kloppp's spare gnashers. He looks a bit like Wallace from the Wallace & Grommet movies.. He also looks much cleaner now & has been to a Beauty Salon to make his eyes look more open than the slitty things they were. And I do believe he's bought a Razor. I think I prefer the old unwashed, scruffy Drew. It was much more 'in character' with his TV Series image. It's amazing what it does to a man when 'Off the Lead' of holy matrimony & he's 'On The Pull' again. As for his best mate John Tee, his appearance has gone in the opposite direction faster than the Men's Olympic Down Hill Skiing Final.
