i noticed on the other guides that they tend to choose skills that go unga bunga damage, not minding that if that same unga will be the same if factored with Ignore DeF stats. for example, in the sniper build, they will tell you to max out True sight first rather than sonic blast, but sonic blast has additional ignore def so thats better especially whth this guide.

I've been watching your videos since ROM and now in ROO, I'm still waiting for your contents. And this is one of the contents that I'm really waiting for. I was doing damage tests as well for the past couple of weeks and I was sure that to increase the damage in mobs, the formula has something to do with ignoreDEF and PVE Damage bonus, though I was unsure with the whole calculation, I was able to maximize my F2P blacksmith dealing massive damage and 1 hitting my target grinding spot using cart revo. I'm currently at 960 PVE bonus damage and 537 ignoreDef with 2.16% ignoreDef and I can say this is really spot on. Though I might disagree with the P/MDMG% and card setup. During my tests, it looks to me that P/MDMG% is somewhere outside the calculation giving a big multiplier. When it comes to card, I was dealing high damage using 2 racial cards compared to using 1racial + 1 size card (skel and mino)

Another slot for size/race card, or 10% Critdmg card after lv80 +15 bow, while your falcon can always crit. Critdmg% card sometimes is better becoz there is no small-size card in ROO.

THANK YOU! I've been looking for the damage formula since release. For some reason, I thought def ignore gave a flat damage that ignores defense, so I really needed to see this video. Now, my def ignore is equal to Orc Lord's defense and I'm doing 10% more damage just leveling the Guild skill. What do you mean by diminishing returns where 20+20=36 though? Did you just mean to say it would be better to spread out modifiers? Like medium+demon(1.18*1.2=1.416) would be better than double demon(1.2+1.2=1.4)? Wouldn't diminishing returns apply more to defense modifiers? i.e. 20% fire resistance + 20% dmg reduction from defense being (1-0.2)*(1-0.2)=0.64% damage after reductions instead of (1-0.2-0.2=0.60%)

Thanks for confirming blitz beat is full ignore def. The only mystery now is how does steel crow damage affects blitz beat damage. Does it gives 100%patk + 200 in the blitz beat computation? Or the 100% patk is calculated differently and is not within the blits beat 500% attack multiplier.

Also, will the passive proc stack ? assuming LK has bongun card and aura sigil. will firebolt and bash proc in the same one normal attack ? Im a LK having bongun, stem worm, Vanguard force, joint beat and aura enchantment. im not exactly if one proc, it will override others ? Also, joint beat is triggered whenever one use skill. It seemed like when an autobash is triggered, it'll trigger joint beat also.

Can i ask about the ignore def in nightmare temple in the videos? In the videos say hard mode need ignore def 600, is it for def or mdef? Because monsters in field have different def and mdef stat so i assume its gonna be the same with nightmare temple (example hard mode need 600 ignore def/ ignore mdef 300), because with feathers etc you can see the different upgrade between ignore def/ ignore mdef so doesnt that make it not fair if hard mode need ignore def&mdef 600 (because ignore mdef has smaller upgrade in feathers etc)

In the Vid is MDEF, PDEF needs to x2. However, TW recently decide to nerf the DEF, which mostly should implement in Global too soon. ATM the Class with High Ignore DEF has an advantage in Nightmare Temple, u can check out my NT guide for more info
