What an amazing looking machine! I test drove a fully loaded 2013 ATS 3.6 (RWD) for about 30 minutes due to the salesman being a friend of mine. I couldn't believe how nice this car was in every way! It was really quick too. I think it trapped 102 and change mph through the 1/4 mile in one of the magazines. For a daily driven sedan driven on the street 100% of the time, it has more than enough power... Probably more than most owners will ever need actually. One of my favorite interior features is the amazing navigation system. It's by far the best factory nav. system I've ever laid eyes on. I haven't driven the ATS 2.0T, but I know it still runs 14.4-14.5 ish through the 1/4 mile, which is also plenty of power for a daily driver. If someone wanted to make their 2.0T faster, all they would have to do is tune it being it's turbocharged, so I'm sure it would respond a lot better to mods versus a naturally aspirated car like the ATS 3.6 would. Then you could add a cold air intake -(CAI), a larger diameter exhaust system, maybe a blow off valve -(B.O.V) ect... I'm sure there is already a ton of mods available for this car. Anyway, I absolutely love the styling inside and out. I love the dual exhaust... I know it's not true duals on the 2.0T, but it still looks awesome just the same. I just love everything about this car and I'm glad America has been stepping up their game. Thank you for the excellent review by the way! If I'm not already subscribed, I will do so after this comment. -Chris

Great review. Love my XTS VSport Platinum. This car is so much more interesting than what the competitors put out and late model Caddys deserve a look!

I have a 2013 ATS AWD and quite honestly the bad reviews of CUE are pathetic. It is EASY to use and reliable ,so I just dont understand all the CUE bashing.

I don’t have issues with it either. Not with the touch controls for AC/seats volume and I have had a 2013 ats4 performance and a 2018 ats awd performance. ❤️

Great review. The touch screen interface needs additional R&D to work appropriately. I remember the first generation of BMWs I-Drive. It was a good idea, but it wasn't quite ready for prime-time.

I have a ‘16 ATS Turbo (automatic) and I like it. The transmission is a bit jerky, and I find the engine thirsty, but otherwise fun to drive and enjoyable. I like the small size.

Ouch! Driving on local roads, constantly looking right to the camera, reading notes, all while giving his review. Talk about multi-tasking.

I just bought 2016 ATS4 Luxury Performance Package heads up display and line change correction as well as approaching car warning with identical to the one he drives interior red seats and dark brown top and it looks like ATS-V from Roy Foss dealership the one where I just bought mine and have it for sale 2018 model for 93,000$ CAD I got mine for 32K with 44,000km on it with bumper to bumper till 160.000km or 5 years One thing I did in a first month is hit pothole and changed my continental run-flats for Yokohama W rated normal tires after which my ride became much smoother and I strongly recommend to anyone to switch to regular staggered tires, because my car is black I tinted my windows and due to my age 36 I didn’t go crazy on the side windows and I went with 20% only which is fine I have a house where I can have sex But I will say one thing in your view young guys looking to buy this car don’t forget that this car is fast at the same time as expense you will be looking at modifying he’s not changing minute things in your engine soon have a straightforward think you will be doing and is upgrading your muffler and air filter that should give you at least 20 more horsepower P.S. my logo has been changed to now days Cadillac logo which I love as well.

Chrysler 200 with the v6 AWD would be a great comparison.

Your touching the silver/aluminum trim which is just accent, not the actual touch point. Many ppl do the same thing...

From what I seen the entire console there is touch sensitive meaning just touching the right area softy will get it to recognise your choice over pressing will cause it to select and deslect...arrow buttons can be softly swiped, remember it recognize by proximity sensors, u can hover then close in with soft touch and remove your finger that's why it's takes a second to respond.

You put your finger on what area you want to change, return your eyes to the road, and wait for the haptic feedback. Just like any touch screen today. Better yet is when your timing beats the vibration. Personally I know no system today that responds to the spatic finger jabbing the author gave CUE

To be honest i am in the market for a car I did checked out the ATS not the V but just AWD version...i didn't even drove the car as soon as i got inside i instantly hated the interior..not just the cheap plastic shiny look but how it operates as well so called touch...I did test the touch bottom but you really need to pay attention to it and not only that every time i touch one it jumps like 2 or 3 times...so Cadillac though your car does got the looks but it lacks functionality the inside felt extremely small, cheap materials it even feels cheap horrible functionality so no point test driving, thought about the CTS to but its the same interior so no point as well...the fuck GM thinking...you still in the catching up phase with your competitors, a long fucking way to go

not sure what stick is up your backside but the current Cadillac cars match if not exceed many BMW and Mercedes cars. bmw and Cadillac have equal plastics and hard touch molded parts, but bmw also has largely the same design as from 2008. mostly refreshed not redesigned since then. Cadillac is new modern fresh and unique and many say the ats surpasses the bmw 3 series. only gripe is cue but also using finger swipes to move through bmw screens moves eyes off the road as well so neither is great.
