There are other artist's followers who gives thumbs down on Morissette reactors just so other viewers would think that the performance wasn't great. We have noticed that lately and also some uses fake accounts to comment bad on the reactor. It is sad that instead of lifting an artist, these people tend to make things that would stop the rising of an artist's popularity. So don't mind them, they don't deserve very good reactors like you...

It's interesting that there is such a difference in what different voice coaches think her top notes are. You called her top whistle note in this song an A6. Another seemingly expert voice coach at The Charismatic Voice called it a D7. That's quite a difference. Love your analysis by the way.

And she can sing in so many different styles, there is always one for you. Some times you will almost have hard to believe that the song you are listening to is sung by the same girl you listened to earlier. Most people get very surprised when listen to her. Angelina won Norway got talent when she was 7-8 years old. Norwegian is her first language, English is her third. She also plays 3-4 different musicinstruments, she is a music genius. I don't think 5:06 is falsetto sir. It was a full voice dynamically shifted into softer phonation that denotes her ability to control the sound. Morissette has gone into years of training, dedication and passion and that's just one of her edges over other singers even with the original singers who performed the song she sings.

Can you explain the difference between whistle and falsetto? They feel really similar when I've tried to replicate whistle register. Maybe I'm just doing a really high falsetto though.

I was able to sing, I think, in whistle register since its a bit higher than the highest falsetto note I've ever hit, but it definitely doesn't sound good LOL. This may be super wrong but this is how I'm understanding it. It seems like in terms of how the vocal chords are used, falsetto has them almost completely separated, but part of them are touching and allowing that to produce the sound. Where whistle is like the complete opposite, where the chords are completely closed except for a space of air and that creates the sound. Super interesting. Thanks for the article and explanation. Your channel has been really good in terms of learning things from other singers and just technique in general. :)
