If I enjoy an anime in sub I'll usually watch the dub after and if I like the dub (and I usually do) I'll switch between sub and dub for rewatches and the second one was bull that was a scene from the sub it doesn't count as a dub unless it's meant to bring something from one country to another that shouldn't have been in there that was the original Japanese version

it's pretty easy since the official dubs 9/10 sound like absolute horse shit and have either drastically or minutely changed lines while most fan dubs try to stick to a 1 to 1 interpretation or go full balls to the wall on comedy. ghost stories on the other hand is a one of a kind disaster show in the official dubbing department.

If you think the AOT dub is the worst dub watch the original Higurashi dub it's not good and this is coming from someone who likes dubs and can tolerate and even sometimes likes Luffy's dub voice

@@Alpaska I only started to sometimes like Colleen Clinkenbeard as Puffy post time skip and I would say most modern dubs are good and if you're talking about the ghost stories dub it's actually considered the better way to watch ghost stories because the original is just that boring and at the time those types of jokes were considered more acceptable than in today's age

@@Thehenta1menace I’d agree with that. However, some modern dubs might have a voice that just doesn’t feel like it matches the character after hearing the sub. The older ones are worse though. When I mentioned weird dubs, there was one where a female teacher was introduced and she started talking and it was a guy trying to do a high pitched voice. It sounded like an abridged. Also, Ghost Stories is one of my favorite dubs!!

Actually, the name is Crazy Diamond. It's only Shining Diamond in the dub because the original name, Crazy Diamond, was at risk of copyright claiming due to the stand being named after Shine On You Crazy Diamond by Pink Floyd.

@@ironclad-m3q No it isn't. If we went off of that logic, a good majority of anime would also be Korean, or old cartoon movies like Zombie Island would be Japanese. It doesn't work that way, most animation is outsourced to Korea and has been for a very, very long time.
