Btw on the Lego website there is a make your Minifig option and it’s a cheap way to get the torso so I don’t know if it will de value it

With that it's quite limited as to what you can add on the torso. There are predetermined torso options and the graphics you can add are limited too. Plus hand drawing it may not work. But I could see someone who owns a PAD printer making one that would be almost impossible to differentiate. That's why safest bet is to buy it sealed in bag with the second form of proof.

Hi buddy that is not a store display...its the sleeve that is put on all the boxes that come with the NY Yoda. Unfortunately many built the ship and threw the sleeve away hence very few in the market.

I own two of these sealed in bag and have kept my receipts from the New York Toy Store i bought them from. They were 250$+ in 2013 when i got them. Seemed like a ludicrous amount for a piece of plastic but i am quite pleased with my investment. I have offered them as gifts to friends at times and no one wanted them. Ive gifted away the gold chrome plated C3P0 (1-10,000) while keeping a few of them as with my other star wars minifig buddies and sets. Yes, they are a great investments, NOW, but what truly matters is the joy they bring others. I have kept my new york Yo-Bros sealed amongst their other lego homies 2x White Boba Fett 30th, Chrome Vader 30th, TC-4, Darth Maul skeleton 2012, Darth Revan, Chrome TC-14, 2x Chrome Storm Trooper, and Han Solo Hoth. My advice to all future investors or collectors, is enjoy it. The price is alluring but without the joy theyre meaningless. Good luck everyone, as ill be auctioning off one of them shortly.

So I have a authentic iHeart Yoda I got it with my dad when we were in New York for that event and my M on the torso is not missing. Mines is complete.

Interesting. My guess is there would be some variation in the prints from figure to figure. Again the M will just barely be missing a bit of print on the bottom tip on the right end. Sometimes it's difficult to see. The heart size/placement is definitely the most important feature to verify authenticity.

Sadly by the time I figured out that it was a fake, it has been over a year. And when I went to find the order in eBay, it said order could not be found.

That sleeve was given out with all 1000 and is made to go around the xwing 9493 set, it's not a poster.
