We can bring this armor back with modern scientific knowledge of just how a bullet perpetrates a metal plate and making the metal plate lighter and stronger and I know a guy who knows a guy who can swap out parts on that musket to make it breach loaded, have a high capacity magazine, and fire 1 round when you sqweeze the trigger and another round when you release. I should discuss this with my tribe during Thanksgiving dinner tonight.

@@Real11BangBang At the time that ends up happening likely it will start with 0.20% of the population being all who actually have a means of having gunpowder weapons available. Why is the lever on the match lock so long? Good video!
@Real11BangBangАй бұрын
that is called the tiller. since the matchlock is a much older weapon the tiller is an early trigger that comes directly from the cross bows that proceeded it. as years went forward it got shorter and evolved into the trigger we know today. many later matchlocks have regular triggers.
@tatumergo3931Ай бұрын
Also because the matchlock normally doesn't use a spring-loaded mechanism. With a matchlock you have to slowly bring the lighted match to the pan, to avoid the match being put out.
@hettro-cv6082Ай бұрын
@@tatumergo3931 Thanks!
@tatumergo3931Ай бұрын
@@hettro-cv6082. You're welcome! One thing I didn't mention was the oriental type of matchlocks, specially the japanese samurai teppo-zutsu of Tanegashima, which did use a spring-loaded system. This was able to be done because they use a special type of match which doesn't get put out easily, there was even a type of shorter fuse that would even function in humid or wet weather. So even after the West had progress to using percussion caps ignition systems, the japanese were still using matchlocks.
