He is going around and speaking to the youth at schools, he is reaching out to his old enemies or people from the other side like reese and memo and trying to get them on board with pushing peace, he is trying to set an example by showing mfs it's okay and you not a goofy for WANTING to stop killing and beefing with each other. The cereal is also a good idea foreal because if two big and respected names like Reese and J mane not only got some money together, but they did something as simple as had a conversation on camera and agreed that beefing and shid is really dumb and saying enough is enough at some point isn't cowardly or goofy, it's actually smarter and more beneficial, I think a lot more mfs would at LEAST think about it being an actual possibility. Mfs can say Jmane ain't even qualified as "one of them nggas with a respected name in the streets", but in reality J mane is the perfect mf for the task because he too lost mfs he loved, is a well KNOWN member from his side who has a big enough voice to where mfs would even care to see him sit down with mfs from the other side. All I'm saying is I personally see bro at least trying to figure it out and it's really lame as hell how mfs in the comments just so pessimistic and negative minded.
@bigbabygodsaucellc3 ай бұрын
Fuck the comments, but I understand both of their positions, neither of them is wrong it just boils down to two individuals doing it two different ways they h just having a hard time articulating it. Young sees it as being more hands on and with the people and community type outreach, while j mane is using his influence and platform to reach and teach. Now it sounds kinda hater ish from young because if he feels that j mane isn’t doing it as he would then do it. Can’t knock another man on how he’s doing something if you’re not doing it at all.

Listen...... trying to push peace with people who have literally killed family & friends you loved is probably very hard & uncomfortable. Not only that, but they bragged and trolled about it for the world to see. Now we want to sit at the table & act like nothing ever happened. Grief lasts for years...... & it takes ALOT of prayer and forgiveness to move past that alone. I know what Jmane is doing is positive and great for the Chicago community or any place with high crime. However, he has to understand it takes others a little more time, maybe longer than others, to be able to move forward and push peace. Especially when you lost family members like your siblings to this shit. & it wasnt to long ago that Cash or Duck was killed. Jmane sounds like he's had personal, heart to heart conversations with God. He probably really prayed and asked God to forgive him and his enemies for their sins. He wants peace and understanding. He's probably asked his higher power to help guide and walk with him through this journey. You can tell he wants to change his life around and set examples for the youth because he finally realized HIS choices he made in life weren't worth the heartache and pain he's endured. So he's trying to lead by example and give the youth hope. Experience is the best teacher. But to me..... Young is just not there yet, and you can't do anything but respect it. He's entitled to feel how he feels. He may not ever be ready and thats ok too. Folks are still disrespecting his folks on the internet. U can barely trust friends, but you want me to believe i can trust my enemies. Your enemies may not be on the same agenda as you. A pair of lips will say anything. How can you really forgive me and i forgive you and really push peace after all that's been done. People have died and others are in prison for life behind this!!! I know for a fact that that would be an uncomfortable feeling for me. Talking to someone who was or whose homie was behind the death of someone, I would've died for myself. Just give it time, Jmane, and if or when the time is right... more could possibly get on board. But don't make or even pressure me to feel how you feel at this very moment. Some days, i cope well with the loss of my family and friends I've lost to gun violence... but also some days, it hits me hard like it just happened yesterday, and i be wishing i could kill a person and get away with it. Grief is real. It takes a STRONG individual to be able to make peace with someone who caused that pain you have to feel daily or whenever it hits you.

Young… the whoops movement is for pushing the peace. The platform is a podcast bro. I will say he needs to set a theme for the platform to lead the conversations somewhere other than freely speaking on the drama aspect. He doesn’t only focus on the drama, but sometimes it seems like the questions are random. At the same time it’s his platform and he doesn’t what he pleases, but everybody pushes peace different. Some people push peace aggressively.

If im being honest, I think realistically the reason young is saying the things he’s saying is because he recognizes that although j mane is pushing peace on his platform, realistically life is very much still dangerous for people j mane is associated with like young and the rest of 63rd. People are still droppin in the raq and young is simply saying that if your gonna push peace ,go all in because that’s what legitimately brings change. You can’t push peace and stir up drama or little disputes that could ultimately escalate into beef later on if you’re really trying to push the peace. It’s all good in the schools but realistically it’s active gang members who need to have conversations or interactions with the person trying to create peace amongst the city. I think j mane feels his impact is larger than it actually is, and I think it’s also for the wrong reasons, since j Mane blew up its seemed like his arrogance has grown right back to its original state and the peace movement seems to be moreso for publicity, money and connections. I think his heart was originally in the right place but we can sometimes get so caught up that we forget to really assess how to accomplish the mission frfr.
