So true! The food industry goes out of their way to create processed foods & drinks full of addictive chemicals so that we continue eating their products. Never mind these chemicals cause food addiction, obesity, diabetes, heart health issues & even cancer, their profits mean more than our lives. If you are blessed enough to vacation in Europe you will notice the food tastes more authentic, more delicious & that many of the nationals are not morbidly obese. I saw a video where a woman goes through an entire Big Mac meal, including the packed ketchup. The American cheese has plastic particles in it & they are called “forever chemicals”. The ketchup packets have more than four ingredients, if I remember correctly.

It seems like both. Like people who buy snacks are at fault for not eating Greek yogurt, steak, and eggs. Instead they eat prepackaged crap full of preservatives, dyes, and additives that do damage to the brain, organs, and nervous system. There's also all the chemicals on the veggies and fruits. Healthiest I've ever been is doing a nearly full carnivore diet with fruits from a local farm. Raw milk, Greek yogurt, and beef are conducive to proper hormone regulation, especially in regards to testosterone(which women need too)

while this can be the case for a lot of people, it’s dangerous to subscribe to this idea that it’s the same for ALL cases. personally im less than 120 lbs, but i still understand that there are genetic conditions like diabetes and hypothyroidism that do in fact cause people to gain weight as their bodies can’t produce enough insulin to compensate for the amount of glucose they consume. not everybody can afford insulin, and working out doesn’t cure it for everybody. while it’s true for many, bc america is full of gluttony, it’s wrong to put that label on everybody. God gave you free will to do what you want with your body, it’s not your problem nor your job to criticize and judge other people. it’s your job to look long and hard at yourself and take accountability and do what YOU need to do for yourself to be healthy. that is your business, not other people’s conditions

I'm not making excuses, but if it's also hereditary to "love your food more than you should", and it's much harder to control the weight. I've also noticed that my stomachs alarm for telling me I'm full is delayed and I'll only register that I'm very full a good 10 minutes or so after my meal has ended. Self control and self discipline is key.
