Not just the last bar, but all the fuel for pitch control. Engine should be used only in emergency situations. A so upgraded plane that he played at the end should go easily 2000m with every single bar of fuel.

@@bexcalibur14 I calculated for meters/second, since miles/sec would mean that it went even faster... Also, 196.8miles/second would be insane, that would be 1133568km/hr which would be VERY close to 1000 times the speed of sound or 200 times the speed of light.

I remember this was one of the games my classmates would play on the computer at indoor recess. The rest of us would gather round the computer and see how far the student playing the game could get before indoor recess ended. I think the highest I've seen my classmates get was 222 meters in Paris. We focused on exterior upgrades rather than speed ones, most notably a blue biplane.

My elementary school straight up had a book on how to make paper airplanes of all shapes and sizes. There was a helicopter, a nighthawk, an f-15, there where darts and planes designed to do all kinds of tricks. Safe to say I never returned it. ;)

So the engineering way to fly this plane is use up all the fuel as soon as possible and let it to fortune to find the targets for continuing the flight instead of keep the fuel for control and fly the plane wittingly to those targets which gives speed for free. Very clever.
