one thing cutting a globe is Completely differend to cutting a planet with the gravity pulling everything together . and the shear scale removing allmost all structual entigrety . . any relativery large hole or a canyon will quiqly fill back up . . making any hole deeper than several miles literaly impossible

That first bridge is the galloping gerdie it collapsed sometime is the 1050 it would gallop in the wind the rebuilt it some time in the 1090 and called it the sturdy gerdie
