This game reminds me a lot of Steamworld Dig. Very different mechanics, but the concept of "dig, and try not to piss off the creatures lurking in the soil" is fairly similar.

A tip pn the bugs underground you can destroy the tile to prevent for them to emerge and kills them and also always destroy the egg tiles

Scavanger simulator: Steal all the resources murder the locals and destroy the planet. It is safe to assume that if the "giant bugs" are intelligent as they are capable of forming stronger and stronger raid groups to try to take down the clear threat to their planet, considering they start attacking right away its likely they have hear word from other near by planets of these scavengers who destroy worlds so they gather forces as quickly as they can when they realize they are the next target. a game where you truly are the villan fun! we need to get matpat on the sick LORE of this game

I think the laser watchtowers aren't that useful, as they shoot only in a straight line directly up. Drones, however, seek out enemies. I'd have gone for two of those as permanent fixtures. That way, I wouldn't have to worry about placement. I'd also have deleted the free turrets and replaced those with laser turrets.

The bugs spawn out of blocks with a red dot in the middle. If you mine them before the bug breaks out it is destroyed.
