Just a tip for Matt. If you have the ox and want to pill an animal, pill it in front of the ox. That way, the ox has melon armour and gains attack for free.

I've realized I do best at this game when I just don't really try to plan long-term. The only times I've ever got to 10 wins were times where I just kind of kept adjusting on the fly. Although playing 10 games in a row against someone adds an interesting wrinkle to that, since you have some idea of what you'll be facing. I should try that some time.

Pro tip pilling the ant outside of battle in front of the ox will give the ox 2 attack and melon armor. Mostly only said this because it hurt my souls when you pulled the ant in front of the swan.

"Thats not called memory, thats called cheaty thing" As someone with bad memory and aphantasia... I cant remember the team i just fought even if i tried; i will always rely on any notetakin tools built into a game spec for those of us who are forgetful. Thats not cheating, thats accessibility. Just cuz some folks got photographic memory and some folks can memorize teams fast doesnt mean everyone shud be expected to do such. By that logic then RPGs shudnt have quest logs as you can just remember what they asked you to do and once you unlock something in a game and it tells you what it does it shud nvr again let you find out what it does bcuz you shud memorize that. Also, the mechanic is legit to mimic the normal tournament mechanic of being able to see what previous ppl used even if you didnt fight against them in the last round (bcuz the battles happen either at the same time in a small space (like in a card game tourney) or they happen one after the other (like in a tabletop wargame tourney in a small hobby shop) in small batches bcuz of space/costs. But either way, youre able to see what others are using (and often even theres decklists/teamlists that can be looked at by the players; esp in the high end tourneys) Itd be absurd to expect a player to just have to memorize every team they face like this is some kinda card counting in 4 deck blackjack; and using the tools provided to assist you if you dont have such good memory is the farthest thing from cheating

You should do rounds like this but u tell each other what pets spawned then you each choose 1 pet for each other each round. The rest remains secret till battle round. Options could be no deleting chossen pets. So by round 5 that is ur team, lose money on deleting pets choosen or maybe you can only delete pets chosen by the opponent every 2nd round (basically it has to fight at least 1 battle) Rinse and repeat till victory. SEP super espionage pets. See who can win while doing the most harm to the enemies synergy

"You dont have the summoning build for turkey" Then what the heck is the lvl three horse even doin there... The Turkey legit gives more atk, permanently, to every pet you grab than the horse. (And yes i kno the horse was there for the bison but still, the swan and rabbit and ox cud all easily be swapped for turkey and two summoners and that wud be devastating.

4:36 Why RCE... Why didnt you move the ant in front of your Ox before pillin it!? You cudve gotten a permanent +2 atk ***and melon armour*** on that Ox if youd simply moved things around. Early Ox can get absurdly powerful if fed enuf ants and flamingos; which is much easier when youre still rollin tier two pets (eg when you first had a chance to get Ox and ignored it on turn three >.>) Even if it doesnt get HP boosts, its still almost guaranteed to murderate two pets per battle just cuz of melon armour. And the HP can be gotten around with the many pets which buff HP like rabbits and beavers and ducks or even just the little bit of buffin from ants and flamingos and otters.
