In tower defense games, towers close together should ALWAYS aim at different priorities. If they're all aimed at the first enemy, only one of the shots counts when enemy dies, very architectury.

a house doesn't give you the gold according to the level of the tower but according to the current level of the game (number of adjacent towers x wave = gold). If you place a tower next to a house in round 1 it will have given you about 1000 gold by the end of the game, not massive but ballistas are pretty cheap so I would recommend doing it. Also, path splits don't double the number of enemies they just divide them equally.

Yup.. building next to houses is the best way to get money for quite some time.. He's making a lot of beginner mistakes, but I suppose that's the charm of watching our cute special little engineer :')

Also enemies don't "burn" equal to the number shown. The number is how long they will be hurt by whatever fire, poison or bleed is damaging them. The damage starts at 25/s then gets buffed with cards from there. Unlock a shedder next time and try to level up tower up stats in the box on their right after you select them. You can make special towers out for each status. Shield and armor snipers essentially set to target the "Most Shielded or Armored" enemies.

Mat, you can upgrade the towers damage too without needing to buy more. Your tesla for example you could have just beefed up the damage it does.

The trick is to make different entrances have varying length. That way enemies more spread apart, giving you the chance to tak e them out. If that is not an option, teslas and other AOE damage is a must.

Towers level up as they kill enemies, the level up gives them a free upgrade depending on which kind of damage they dealt (health/armor/shields). It is a bad idea to upgrade towers manually if you have a lot of towers. Just let them gain levels organically. It is good when you have a killzone with an Area of Effect tower though. You won't need as many towers since you are doing AoE damage.

You should better know the difference between armor and shield. Shields are the gray parts of life bars, and armor is yellow. And every tower is specifically effective agains health, armor or shield.

A lot of missing and incorrect stuff in this video. 1 armour is yellow, shield is blue, not the other way around 2 you keept targeting max health to try and target high armour enemies in the first game 3 houses pay out based on the level you reached (round number), not the level of the turret 4 you completely missed spending gold to upgrade turrets at any point 5 when selling a turret you get back the cost to buy the previous turret of that type, not the cost you paid. You do not get back any level up you bought for it though 6 the burn damage is not the amount they are burning per second (that increases with cards), it is the amount of burn damage ready to be applied to them

The houses aren't dependent on the level of the towers next to it, its dependent on the level of the round that your on. 4 towers around a house on level 1 pays you 4 gold. 4 towers around a house on level 10 pays you 40 gold even if the towers themselves are level 1

I’m not sure but I think that putting your tower higher (when it’s said +1/+2/+3) it doesn’t increase the damage, but it increases the range of the tower. Hope to see more video on this game😁

when you put a tower on higher terrain it doesnt mean its getting more damage, it means its getting more range, thats why the tesla coil at 17:08 seemed to hit farther than the other ones

Aren't engineers supposed to read instructions and draft schematics first? Then ideally plan things out before the first screw is drilled in.

Those "tanks" are called siege rams or battering rams. These were once used to break down walls and gates with a large, as the name implies, battering ram usually made out of logs with armour on the front. The rams were also used to protect the troops under it from arrows, ballistas and other ranged weapons.

Flame throwers are great on the long straights, teslas are great on the higher levels in the middle of circles as you saw. The real trick is to just keep playing to unlock permanent buffs and more cards.

If you click on a tower, on the left of the tower UI, you can upgrade individual stats for the tower. That way you can compensate for fighting against high HP, armor, shield type enemies. Yellow = Armor Green = HP Blue = Shield

Blue in enemy health bar is shield. Yellow is armor. Houses give you gold per wave per tower(damage dealing) next to it. Blue under the bar is slow amount

Nope! They are for both. While a ground balista makes 10 Base damage, a +3 makes 13 base damage

Tesla Coil GREAT for the big corner turn tiles.... because on a +3 the coil will hit the entire path around the corner turn. so it works out really well. so far ive gotten to like level 27 by doing this. i think in order to win, you really need all the tower types. its hard to go with just one type the whole game. Sadly, each type has its own damage. Tesla great against shields. Mortar great against armor. Ballista great against health. Radar great against health. etc.

hey Matt, the battering rams have very little health(green), but a lot of armor(yellow). shields are purple. it is also way more effective to upgrade towers. if possible you want to elavate the teslatowers

Dear RCE, These "tanks" are actually called "rams" and they are wooden things with people inside who, when ram is near building, pull back and forth giant log that destroy building by ramming, where it's name is from. That's actually satisfying to teach a British English words being Polish

I love these addictive games! I always have to try them after you show them off. Perfect for me since I get over invested in games like Rocket Leaguge or League of Legends, but these manage to scratch the itch without becoming huge commitments.

Houses are op. You get gold of the wave your'e in so if you are in wave 15 you get 15 gold per tower next to it and with the main castle there are sometimes houses and they do the same. So pls place balistas or another tower next to houses it is wotrh it.

The hills give extra range.... Grey is shield, yellow is armor... The houses give you money based on the level YOU ARE IN, not the level of the towers surrounding the house... Towers are upgradable for a bit of money

Steam does some good things, but I hate how many games are only available on their platform. I'd snap this and Vampire Survivors up if I could, but I won't sign the new contracts on Steam and the games aren't available on GOG, which is still consumer friendly.

the houses give you wave lvl+1gp per tower next to it so wave 3 your get 4g per tower beside it so if you have 4 next to it you'll get 16g doesn't seem that good but it adds up especially if you got allot of houses

Houses don't go by the level of the building next to them but the level you're on at the top. Houses are worth doing in the long run, especially if they're in a good spot.

Don't sleep on the house. once you unlock more stuff and start making it to late game the house becomes op, especially if you can find one early on.

seems best to keep on going with one road the further it is from other entry points the more time your towers have to deal with every wave if you expand every road equally you have to deal with all the waves arriving at the same time something you should only do if you have aoe towers

Defense Grid 1 and 2 look amazing, but don't have the replayability of this game! I'm a little on the fence, because the graphics are so simplistic (how much did I pay for that GPU?) but a game that you can't anticipate too much because the maps are always different? That's pretty tempting!

Keep your defenses closer to your tower! If they’re too far away they’ll get distracted by the enemies farther away from reaching your tower which pose less immediate risk. Also when you need to preserve mana posting them closer to your tower will help while best utilizing the area damage to kill multiple foes at once after they’ve been previously damaged and right before they could potentially reach your tower.

Level 45 man... not sure how to win it. Made it all the way there without losing a single tower health, then the last boss steamrolled me, hard. It has an utterly insane amount of health, armor and shields, and spawns a dozen of the hardest mobs every 3 seconds.

Mate look at the below, I won the game with this knowledge Green = Health (Health is weak to bleed) Tan = Armor (Armor is weak to fire) Blue = Shield (Shield is weak to poison) First section of stages are primarily higher health with bit of armor mixed in Second section of stages are primarily shields Third mixes armor and shields primarily Fourth is everything To anyone playing this, you are welcome.

Tips: u can sell the tower in lower floor for the same money u spent to build it Though if it won't refund the money u use to upgrade so don't upgrade something that u gonna dig up later

Prioritizing health is doing nothing against those transports because they have very little health, instead they have a lot of armor so you should target armor.
