It seems we helped to save AQR from the legal challenge that was making it be removed from Steam, and now the traffic management game is staying! All Quiet Roads is a game inspired by Mini Metro and Mini Motorways, developed by a single person, but brimming with addictive and fun gameplay!

About All Quiet Roads:
Build roads between various neighborhoods. Congested roads turn amber and then red as traffic slows down. Build more roads. Add cloverleafs, ferries, bridges, and tunnels, getting all your vehicular traffic to where it needs to go.
A vehicle trip is completed when a vehicle reaches its desired destination. Each completed trip adds to your raw score. The raw score is the count of the number of vehicle trips completed. Additionally, your All Quiet Roads score ( AQR ) updates to your current raw score only if there are no roads currently in a red warning state. Your raw score will continue accumulating but it will not become an AQR score until the moment when no roads are red. Red roads can be noisy as motorists honk their horns. All the roads are all quiet only when no roads are red.
All Quiet Roads 4743 is somewhat unique in allowing players to manage traffic on roads that turn red, just like realtime maps we use on real world roads. Red roads are dangerous, because as traffic backs up it will eventually cause neighborhoods to become jammed. When the neighborhood can no longer hold any more newly spawning vehicles the game is over.

Yeah, i had the feeling of sincerity too. We all do small and big fck ups. This was a bigger one. They noticed, they apologized and retracted the legal inquiries - thats basically the best they can do. Now we have to look out for them either learning or repeating, but atm i guess they will learn.

It takes a lot of courage and humility to admit when you are wrong. So kudos to the Mini motorway ? Devs for reaching out to AQR admitting they dropped the ball. And I always thought imitation was the highest form of flattery. They are both unique in their own right and should be proud of their own unique take on this new genre.

For your unique buildings, bring in separate roads from each network and select "no through traffic" on them. This keeps the networks separated. This also avoids unnecessary junctions. For more tips, you want to avoid trading as much as possible to limit wasteful spending. Using your bulldozer on the red building at the end would've saved you. Another trick is to delete everything at around 12k-15k to construct a proper network and maximize your resources. If you hold down the right mouse button to remove about 6 or so roads, the options to delete all will appear on the left. Just wait for the traffic to clear out before starting over. I scored 37,583 AQR on New York using this strategy. I also take a picture of the trading menu to know the value of the rewards :D

In his defense cloverleafs are extremely rare in the UK being that there is only 2 true cloverleaf junctions, as roundabouts pretty much are used at majority of intersections instead.

Create multiple entrance roads for popular destinations. Don't funnel all traffic onto one driveway. Have a north entrance and a south entrance, etc.

Compared to the other game where you have a time limit you get stressed this just looks so satisfying and to play I've been a l wash the two hour livestream about this and I did not even realise it was 2 hours and I will take them to the next 1 to 2 hours and 45 minutes I've just sat on watch it and past my bedtime but it's satisfying to watch

Is this spawning actually semi accurate, or is it a coincidence? That airport is just about where JFK is and the stadium is where Madison Square Garden is. Incidentally, the locations of Matt's bridges into New Jersey are about where the PATH trains cross from WTC and Penn Station.

8:42 help me out here with something Matt, or anyone from the UK: Matt says "just about" a lot, like "I just about missed that," or "I can just about afford that," and he seems to mean that he barely missed something, or barely can afford that. Is that a UK/British English vs. American English kind of thing, where the phrase "just about" means the same this as barely? Or is that just a Matt thing? In the US, when we say "just about," we mean almost, as in "I almost missed it" or "I can almost afford it." If you were to use that phrase on this side of the pond in the context he does, you'd confuse people and they'd be like, "what do you mean you just about missed it? You did actually miss it. Just barely, but you did miss it." I hope this makes sense. TIA
